Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gulfcoastclinicalconsulting.com (the "Site") and any communications or preliminary discussions with Gulf Coast Clinical Consulting ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of services

Gulf Coast Clinical Consulting provides legal nurse consulting services to attorneys and law firms, including medical record review, case merit assessment, standard-of-care analysis, chronology preparation, expert witness support, life care planning, and deposition preparation. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

2. No attorney-client, medical, or consulting relationship from the Site

Nothing on this Site — and no submission through the case review intake, contact form, or email — creates an attorney-client relationship, a physician-patient relationship, or a consulting engagement. A consulting engagement is established only upon execution of a written engagement letter or agreement signed by both parties.

3. Not medical or legal advice

Content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed clinician or attorney. Do not rely on Site content in place of retained professional counsel.

4. Case review submissions

Preliminary case review inquiries are non-binding and confidential to the extent practicable. Do not submit privileged, protected, or highly sensitive materials through public web forms; use a secure transfer method upon our request. We reserve the right to decline any potential engagement for any lawful reason, including conflicts of interest, capacity, or scope.

5. Fees and engagement

Fees, scope, deliverables, retainer requirements, and payment terms are set out in the executed engagement letter. In the absence of an engagement letter, no fee arrangement exists and no work has been authorized.

6. Confidentiality

We treat client and case materials as confidential. You agree to keep our work product, methodologies, and non-public communications confidential and to use them only for the purpose for which they were provided.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are the property of Gulf Coast Clinical Consulting or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) use the Site in any unlawful manner, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or related systems, (c) interfere with or disrupt the Site or the networks connected to it, or (d) misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

9. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third-party site.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gulf Coast Clinical Consulting and its principals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gulf Coast Clinical Consulting from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
